social democracy: thoughts & analysis
overall an analysis that i commonly do see within the united states that i can see is the consistent advocation for social democracy as some seemingly perfect system that can solve issues and improve living for all. ultimately, it would seem like that to the average statesian proletarian due to consistent stigma over socialism. however, social democracy ultimately is a threat to any possibility of a leftist movement forming, and little true liberation for the proletarian class.
concerning a “mix of capitalism and socialism”
i see this point being consistently brought up by social democrats that they have a “mix of capitalistic and socialist views,” which would be further from the actual truth of the social democratic system. this claim that you can mix socialism and capitalism is only seen within liberal democracies. if a more realistic truth could be said, it is at best a welfarist system with more social programs which essentially exploit the outer worker at hand. it exports the exploitation primarily to the global south
